Jennifer Lopez Not An Attention Seeker

Jennifer Lopez has insisted that she is not an attention seeker, and only wants to be recognised for her music and movies.

Lopez's personal life is often cast into the spotlight, including her failed relationship with Ben Affleck and marriage to Marc Anthony.

Teen Hollywood quotes her as saying, "I've never been on so many magazine covers in my entire life - it was scary. I got into this business to sing and dance, to make music and grow as an artist.

"I love doing what I do and hearing people respond. That's what I do it for. Not for my life to become this front-page weirdness, a territory where you are always going to be picked apart. But I've learned from it.

"One minute they're with you and, all of a sudden, they get angry with you. My work ethic hasn't changed, my personality hasn't changed but I was viewed very differently throughout that time."
