Latina
actress/singer JENNIFER LOPEZ has
slammed reports she is pregnant with
her first child, after US pop star
JESSE MCCARTNEY told a Georgia radio
station she is expecting. J.Lo has
often discussed her desire for
children, but is yet to conceive her
first child with third husband MARC
ANTHONY. On Thursday (24AUG06),
teenage singer MCCartney told Star
94 FM in Atlanta that Lopez had
backed out of the film adaptation of
DALLAS because she is pregnant.
MCCartney's girlfriend KATIE CASSIDY
will play LUCY EWING in the
eagerly-anticipated Texan oil drama.
In a statement, Lopez's spokesperson
labels the reports "100 per cent not
true".

Apologises For Jennifer Lopez Pregnancy Blunder |
Red-faced pop star Jesse Mccartney
has apologised for speaking out
about Jennifer Lopez's apparent
pregnancy on a radio show, insisting
he has no "first hand information".
On Thursday, the teenager told Star
94 FM in Atlanta, Georgia that Lopez
had quit the movie adaptation of
1980s soap Dallas due to the fact
she was with child.
This came after McCartney revealed
he was dating Katie Cassidy, who
will play Lucy Ewing in the movie
project.
But McCartney has since retracted
his comment, insisting he was just
repeating rumors.
In an apologetic statement he says,
"I have no first hand information
whether or not Jennifer Lopez is
pregnant. I thought I had read it
somewhere."

R+B superstar JENNIFER LOPEZ cannot
be called truly "curvy", because she
simply has a "big a**se". Church,
who blames her own spiralling weight
on her rugby boyfriend GAVIN
HENSON's habit of feeding her up,
considers her body to be blessed
with real curves, because she has "a
bit of weight all over." Church
fumes, "Jennifer Lopez isn't curvy -
she's just got a big a**e."

Lopez Develops Latina Comedy |
Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez is
producing a new comedy series about
Los Angeles' diverse suburb of Echo
Park.
The series, which is being developed
for US cable network F/X, will take
a comedic look at the mix of yuppie,
Latino and hipster cultures within
the Los Angeles neighbourhood.
This is the third show Lopez has
developed with producing partner
Simon Fields.
The pair have also produced the MTV
series Moves, a dance-based reality
show revolving around six amateur
dancers and the short-lived
primetime soap South Beach.

Lopez Drops Out of Dallas |
Jennifer
Lopez has pulled out of the big
screen remake of Dallas amid rumours
she may be pregnant.
The olive-skinned beauty was lined
up to play boozy Sue Ellen in the
adaptation of the classic 80s TV
show.
But her representative, Leslie
Sloane Zelnick, told Star magazine:
"She's out of Dallas."
She offered no explanation for the
move.
The news has sparked speculation
J-Lo could be expecting her first
baby.
She also cancelled her tour of
Europe and Asia earlier this year.
The Monster-In-Law star has made no
secret of her desire to start a
family with hubby Marc Anthony, who
she married in 2004.
"I want a baby as soon as I can,"
she said in an interview last year.
"A baby would just be so perfect."
John Travolta will play JR Ewing in
the Dallas movie, and Luke Wilson
and Shirley MacLaine are also set to
star.
But this is not the first time the
project has run into difficulties -
earlier this year Legally Blonde
director Robert Luketic quit over
"creative differences". He was
replaced by Bend It Like Beckham
director Gurinder Chadha.

Launches Amnesty International Website Into
Murders |
|
JENNIFER
LOPEZ has teamed up with human
rights charity Amnesty International
to launch a new bilingual website
aimed at raising awareness about a
Mexican femicide. Lopez jumped at
the chance to fund the project after
learning that 350 young women have
been killed in Ciudad Juarez and
Chihuahua since 1993 as she
researched new movie BORDERTOWN. In
the film, Lopez plays a reporter
investigating the murders. Amnesty
International officials are keen to
make the matter an international
concern after learning that federal
agents in Mexico closed the case on
the murders earlier this summer
(06). More than 100 of the young
girls killed were raped, strangled
and discovered in the desert near
Juarez.
