JENNIFER
LOPEZ thrilled crowds at last
weekend's (24-25JUN06) Gay Pride
Pier Dance in New York City by
appearing as a surprise performer.
The JENNY FROM THE BLOCK singer
appeared with some of the dancers
from her new MTV reality show MOVES.
The show, shot in Los Angeles, gives
a behind-the-scenes look at the
lives of real dancers trying to get
their big break, all selected by
Lopez herself. Lopez took the stage
at 10:30pm with the dancers to sing
a medley of her biggest hits. The
LET'S GET LOUD star wore a short
white mini-dress and put rumours to
rest she was expecting a baby with
her slender appearance and
impressive dance moves.

Laughs Off Scientology Reports |

Latina
actress JENNIFER LOPEZ has laughed
off reports she is studying
controversial religion Scientology.
The MAID IN MANHATTAN star is good
friends with KING OF QUEENS actress
LEAH RIMINI, who is a devout
Scientologist, as well as fellow
celebrity followers of the religion
such as TOM CRUISE, KATIE HOLMES,
JOHN TRAVOLTA and KIRSTIE ALLEY. But
after recent speculation suggested
Rimini was attempting to convert
Lopez to the L RON HUBBARD-created
relgion, Lopez's representative
says, "No. People can be just
friends." Lopez claims to be a
Catholic since birth.

Wedding Thief Pleads Guilty |
|
The man
accused of stealing JENNIFER LOPEZ
and MARC ANTHONY's wedding video has
pleaded guilty in court yesterday
(14JUN06) of attempted grand
larceny. TITO MOSES, one of two men
who tried to negotiate a $1 million
(GBP555,555) ransom from the
celebrity couple, was promised a
more lenient sentence of
one-and-a-half to three years behind
bars by Manhattan's state Supreme
Court for his admission of guilt.
Moses and his accomplice were caught
when a 'rep' for Lopez and Anthony
turned out to be an undercover cop.
They stole the couple's June 2004
wedding video from a laptop computer
in Anthony's Cadillac Escalade in
October 2005. Moses is still
awaiting sentencing in New Jersey
for the car theft. STEVEN WORTMAN,
Moses' alleged partner in crime, has
pleaded not guilty to charges of
conspiracy, attempted grand larceny
and criminal possession of stolen
property. His case is pending.

Denies Pregnancy Rumours |
Jennifer
Lopez has denied rumours that she is
pregnant with husband Marc Anthony,
revealing that she has been
unsuccessfully trying for a baby for
months now.
The singer and actress was speaking
at the Women In Film Crystal Awards
when she commented: "The rumours
about me being pregnant are always
strong and always wrong!"
She also revealed that there were
doubts about her appearance as Sue
Ellen in an adaptation of hit TV
show Dallas.
She said that she had spoken to John
Travolta, rumoured to be playing JR
Ewing, about her doubts. "He asked
me if I was going to take the role
of Sue Ellen and I said 'I think so.
But nothing's set in stone'.
"Sue Ellen was a Texas beauty queen,
so I think I can kind of fit into
that."

parade route. The Puerto
Rican couple made an
unexpected appearance,
thrilling screaming fans,
but Anthony insists he's
always been a big supporter
of his national day. He
says, "The Puerto Rican
parade has been a
long-standing tradition in
my life. It was always an
event that I looked forward
to every single year."

Still Deliberating Over 'Dallas' |
Maid in
Manhattan star Jennifer Lopez is
still considering a role in the
upcoming big-screen version of
Dallas and insists nothing has been
confirmed, despite reports to the
contrary.
Media reports claimed the star had
been cast as Sue Ellen Ewing in the
project based on the hit TV show.
She explains, "I talked to John
Travolta (who has been cast as J.R.
Ewing) and he said, 'Are you going
to do it?' and it said, 'I think
so.' But nothing's set in stone."
Lopez claims if she did accept the
part, she'd have no problem slipping
into the role, adding, "Sue Ellen
was a Texas beauty queen, so I think
I can kind of fit into that."

Jennifer
Lopez is expecting her first child
with husband Marc Anthony, reports
in the US suggest.
The star recently cancelled a
concert tour without giving an
explanation.
Now US magazine In Touch Weekly say
she is three months pregnant and the
baby is due around Christmas.
Rumours first emerged when the star
was spotted with hubby in tow
browsing the baby rails in LA back
in January.
The Latino diva is trying to stop
her ex-hubby from releasing a book
about their relationship.
The singer and actress filed a
lawsuit against former other-half
Ojani No, to stop him from selling
the book to the highest bidder.
The book is thought to contain lots
of intimate details about Ojani's
relationship with the Jenny From The
Block star and not all if it is
particularly flattering.
The lawsuit also alleges that Ojani
tried to extort millions of dollars
from his ex-wife to keep quiet about
their life together.

Picks Up Women In Film Award |
Jennifer
Lopez has been honoured at the Women
in Film awards in the US, happy that
it's her career that is making
people sit up and take notice.
Collecting her award, the singer and
actress said: "It's nice to hear
something nice once in a while. You
hear a lot of other stuff, a lot,
you know what I mean.
"It's nice when somebody says 'hey
kid you are doing good'."
J-Lo looked stunning in a strapless
black dress which was noticeably
loose around the tummy, fuelling
those pregnancy rumours further.
But if she really is about to take
an extended career break, will a
career change also be on the cards?
She said: "For me I want to move
into the producing side of things
which I have been trying to do for a
few years now."
She added: "But it takes a while to
get these things off the ground
people don't realise how much work
and how much effort goes into making
something like that happen.
"When you are a actress you come
into these projects and it's kind of
already formed and you are one piece
of the puzzle.
"But when you are a producer you are
involved in every single aspect of
the film making process so it's like
creating something out of nothing.
It's a amazing feeling."
