The MAID IN MANHATTAN star, who recently attended the Italian wedding of top celebrity Scientologist TOM CRUISE, is reportedly taking tips from actress LEAH REMINI, who used the religion's doctrines when she was trying to conceive her first child.

According to American publication Life + Style, Lopez became interested in Scientology when Remini confided in her that the religion helped her conceive. An insider tells the publication, "She's starting to understand the cleansing process. It's all about putting the positive energy where you want it."

The source insists Lopez and her husband MARC ANTHONY are unlikely to join the church because he's a devout Catholic, but "he's willing to let Jen do what she needs to make things happen."

Other celebrity passengers including JADA PINKETT SMITH, LEAH REMINI and JERRY MAGUIRE director CAMERON CROWE were shocked when they boarded the luxury 757 to find Lopez had taken over.

A source tells American publication Us Weekly, "Jennifer Lopez sent her assistant to secure seats by laying her belongings on all the best seats!" The MAID IN MANHATTAN actress also flew her hairstylist, KEN PAVES, to Rome and set him up at the posh Hotel Hassler to do her hair for the big day. The singer ruffled more feathers at a group dinner at the restaurant Nino on Thursday night (16NOV06) by refusing to stick to the informal dress code.

The source adds, "The November 16 welcome dinner was supposed to be casual. But J.Lo, of course, wore a gown. So much for casual." Lopez also asked a waiter to prepare two "doggie bags" in the wee hours after the wedding, at 2:33 am, for her and husband MARC ANTHONY as they made their way to the airport to return to the US.

The star makes Harper's Bazaar's best-dressed list and appears on the cover of the magazine's December (06) issue, but she insists she would rather stay at home than dress up to go out. Lopez shares her favourite looks of the moment with the publication, which include hats and head wraps reminiscent of AUDREY HEPBURN.

The WAITING FOR TONIGHT singer has deliberately toned down her look from the days where she appeared in slashed-down-to-her-navel dresses and now prefers "clothes that are closed up to the neck with bows." Lopez, who designs her own fashion range called Sweetface insists she is "not into 'sexy, sexy,'" and also claims she's not into attending events just to show off her great sense of style.

She adds, "That going-out-and-being-glam thing gets old fast. People keep saying to me, 'You're not out there anymore.' "And I say, 'That's because I don't want to be!'"

The WAITING FOR TONIGHT singer has been the frequent target of tabloid stories claiming she is pregnant since the couple tied the knot in 2004. She tells US Harper's Bazaar the reports are "100 per cent false" adding, "These kinds of rumours are part of being famous.

You learn to not let it affect you." When Lopez and her husband do decide it's time to start a family, she admits she may be reluctant to share the happy news with the public. She adds, "I don't know if I would be super-protective or (willing) to share my joy. I won't know till it happens."

That way Lopez can dine on her favourite comfort food, cooked up by chef pal ROLANDO GONZALEZ, and get the job done at the same time. Lopez has called on Madre's general manager WASSIM BOUSTANI to cater a photoshoot planned for today (08NOV06).

Boustani says, "This is great because sometimes we don't see enough of her." Lopez's favourite item on the Madre's menu is chef Gonzalez's Ropa Vieja - a stewed and shredded flank steak in a rich tomato and pepper sauce.
