Ex-Husband of
Jennifer Lopez Drops Lawsuit |
Jennifer
Lopez's first ex-husband has dropped
his lawsuit claiming she fired him
as manager of her Pasadena
restaurant without cause.
Ojani Noa's attorney did not say why
he asked the court to dismiss the
suit with prejudice, which would
prevent Noa from refiling.
Attorney David deRubertis did not
return a call Friday from The
Associated Press seeking comment.
Noa sued Lopez last year in Superior
Court, alleging she fired him six
months after he took the job at
Madre's restaurant for $1,000 a
week.
Lopez's attorney Barry Hirsch also
did not return messages.
Noa and Lopez met when he was a
waiter at a Miami restaurant. The
two married in 1997 and divorced a
year later.
Lopez's was married to choreographer
Cris Judd before she married singer
Marc Anthony.

Lopez has dropped his legal case
claiming she fired him as manager of

Ojani Noa's lawyer did not say why
he asked the Los Angeles court to

it.

fired after six months of working at

at millionairess ATHINA ONASSIS
ROUSSEL's December (05) wedding to
show jumper ALVARO NETO.
Insiders claim Lopez is interested
in performing at the Sao Paolo,
Brazil nuptials on 3 December (05)
and she'll donate her performance
fee to charity.
Sources tell America's In Touch
magazine that Lopez has been offered
$3 million (GBP1.7 million) to
perform at late Greek tycoon
ARISTOTLE ONASSIS granddaughter's
big day.

Anthony Raise Cash For Cancer Facilities |
JENNIFER
LOPEZ and her husband MARC ANTHONY
have helped raise more than $100,000
(GBP55,500) for two Puerto Rican
cancer facilities, after attending a
golf event on the Caribbean island.
After headlining the three-day
Presidente Latin Music Festival
earlier this month (OCT05), the
couple visited the inaugural
Celebrity Cancer Golf Classic held
at the Coco Beach Golf + Country
Club in Rio Grande on the final day
of the bash.
The proceeds raised will benefit the
Hospital Auxilo Mutuo Cancer Center
and Sociedad America del Cancer,
according to MTV News.

estate developer to her impressive
resume after taking an interest in a
Miami, Florida, condominium.
The actress, singer, designer and

the waterfront property, according
to America's In Touch magazine.
A pal tells the publication, "She
plans to have a lot of input. She
wants it to reflect her style."

learn sexy singer Jennifer Lopez
plays his music to get in the mood
for love, but he is frustrated he
can't be there in person.
The Born To Do It star, 24, is
simply waiting for Lopez to invite
him back for some lusty loving,
accompanied by his own smooth
vocals.
He says: "It's great to know you're
being played in the background.
"But it would be much better if she
said: 'I'm going to sack the person

Jennifer Lopez For Calendar |
|
Tire
maker Pirelli has selected Jennifer
Lopez to appear on the cover of the
2006 edition of its famous calendar.
Lopez joins. Kate Moss, who was
recently shunned by marketers for
her coke snorting escapades, will
also appear in the calendar.Even
though production of the calendar
had passed the point at which Moss
might have been booted, Pirelli UK
Communications Manager Julie Naylor
says the company would not have
bailed on Moss even if were able
saying, "There was no chance that
Kate would have been dropped from
the calendar. We decided to stick
with her because professionally she
has always been great for us and a
wonderful ambassador. What she does
in her private life is no concern of
ours." The calendar's fame began in
1964 when it was simply a lowly
trade calendar. The 2006 edition
will be released in Paris on
November 18.

& Marc Anthony Head To Dominican Republic |
Celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and
Marc Anthony head to the Dominican
Republic this weekend to perform at
the annual Latin Music Festival.
The festival will also include
Julieta Venegas, Diego Torres, David
Bisbal, Chayanne, Franco De Vita and
Daddy Yankee. Local performers will
include Negros, Frank Reyes, Eddy
Herrera, Krisspy and a unique
combined performance by Sergio
Vargas, Los Rosario, Los Toros Band
and Rubby Perez.
"The Presidente Latin Music Festival
is one of the largest events in the
DR to display our unique and
colorful range of music," comments
Luis Simo, Vice Minister of Tourism.
"We are excited about this
opportunity to showcase talent that
embodies our country's distinctive
Latin culture."
Performances kick off at 6pm each
day in the various locations at
Santo Domingo and Santiago.
Sony BMG will also release the
limited edition compliation album
'Best of the Presidente Latin Music
Festival' to coincide with the
event.

will open the Dominican Republic's
President Of Latin Music Festival
tonight (14OCT05).
An estimated 50,000 people will
attend the JENNY FROM THE BLOCK
singer's first live show in the
Caribbean country - it will be Latin
star Anthony's fourth appearance.

HERNANDEZ is full of praise for J.Lo:

Sultry
actress/singer JENNIFER LOPEZ has
enlisted the help of QUEER EYE FOR
THE STRAIGHT GUY star THOM FILICIA
to decorate her sprawling new
mansion.
The MAID IN MANHATTAN star recently
bought a new pad with husband MARC
ANTHONY but is struggling with ideas
for its interior design.
Lopez hopes the camp TV design
doctor can help transform the Long
Island residence - one of her many
US homes - with his chic style.
As well as appearing on the hit TV
show, Filicia has a successful
interior design company and was
recently listed amongst the top 100
US designers by House Beautiful
magazine.

Lopez Keeps An
Open Mind To Plastic Surgery
|
Superstar Jennifer Lopez accepts she
may one day have plastic surgery,
now she's getting older.
While many of her celebrity
counterparts have spoken out against
those who go under the knife to
maintain their looks, Lopez, 36, has
opted to take a more neutral stance,
as she's unsure how she'll feel
about surgery in years to come.
She says: "If people want to get
enhancements here and there and
little shots or whatever… I don't do
it, but I don't want to judge
because I don't know how I'll feel
when I'm 40 or 50 and if that is
something I would do.
"I know that getting older is tough;
I don't want to judge because I'm
not there yet. But anything in
excess is not good, and I guess that
would be my position on it. If
somebody is cutting up their face
and their body over and over again,
it's got to be something inside that
they're not dealing with, so
obviously deal with that first
before you go under the knife."
She adds: "I think about getting
older, constantly. I'm in my mid-30s
now, so you start thinking, 'God,
wow, I'm going to get there soon.
This is crazy.
"I feel youthful, I have a youthful
spirit, and I do youthful things.
But it's there in your mind. It's
something people don't talk about
much; they just endure it. We should
talk about those things more instead
of letting people go through it all
by themselves. It's a process."

Lopez Bemoans
Her Stomach
|
JENNIFER
LOPEZ has found a fault in her
much-revered body - her stomach
isn't flat enough.
The JENNY FROM THE BLOCK singer,
whose ample derriere has helped win
her admiration around the world,
admits her physique isn't quite what
it used to be.
She says, "I'm very lucky: I've got
good genes, and I've been athletic
my whole life. I'm ahead of the game
- I'm more in shape than I would be
if I didn't do what I did.
"But it's tough, and I do have
issues. My body is not what it used
to be; my stomach is not flat.
People are like, 'Your stomach is
flat!' But I'm like, 'It used to be
really flat, like it was concave.'
"But I love all my body. I thank God
for my body. It hasn't betrayed me.
"I was never raised to be, like,
pencil-thin. You know, we saw it in
magazines, and everybody's like,
'Oh, that's the ideal.'
"But the women around me - my mother
and my aunts and the people in our
neighbourhood - they were all
fuller. They were normal woman and
they were beautiful. So I didn't
ever feel like I had to be anything
but that, which was myself."

Lopez Presented
With Dead Girls Scrapbook
|
JENNIFER
LOPEZ has a macabre keepsake from
the filming of new drama BORDERTOWN
- a scrapbook of murdered Mexican
women.
The singer/actress plays a
journalist investigating the murders
of hundreds of women in Ciudad
Juarez in the film - and the mothers
of the deceased wanted to make sure
she never forgot the dead while she
was filming.
Lopez explains, "Some of the mothers
of the women who were killed put
together a scrapbook for me filled
with photos and pieces of their
daughters' lives.
"It's been very intense. I did a lot
of research for the role, because it
was too important a project not to
give 150 per cent of myself."
